Staying on a beautiful Italian island was a good experience. The room I had was comfortable and clean, with great views that added to the charm of the location. This hotel is more like a restaurant with rooms, where sleep is an afterthought. The staff treated us like an inconvenience. No help with our luggage and absurdly high fees for a private boat ride that we found out about at check-in. I was hoping for some complimentary gesture to make up for it but was utterly disappointed.
